More Than After-School Care
Our Roncesvalles After-School Program is designed as a gentle transition from the structured school day into a calm, creative studio environment. Children engage with rich materials, open-ended art invitations, and meaningful play in a small-group setting guided by experienced educators.
A Studio Rooted in Materials & Exploration
At The Artful Child, we believe the environment leads. Each session is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality materials; clay, paint, natural elements, loose parts, drawing tools, light and shadow… inviting children into deep art exploration. Rather than following step-by-step crafts, children explore process, experiment freely, and build confidence through creative discovery.
Program Details
Ages: 4–9
Location: Roncesvalles, Toronto
Days Offered: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
Group Size: Space for 12 children.
Led by: Experienced early childhood art educators
