The Artful Child® Founding Coaching Circle

Abstract painting with pink, purple, yellow, blue, red, and green splashes and drips of paint

A three-week live program for educators building a process art studio of their own.

The studio you've been imagining is a framework away.

The Artful Child® Founding Coaching Circle is the full YES Environment framework, taught live in a small group by Jessica Borowets, owner of The Artful Child® and creator of the YES Environment method. It is grounded in twelve years of studio practice and 55+ years of family experience in early childhood education.

This is not a course about inspiration. It is a working program for educators ready to design, open, and run a real process art studio.

By the end of three weeks, you will have:

A YES Environment designed for your actual space, your actual budget, and your actual children.

A materials philosophy and starter list built around the research, not around what is trending.

A working understanding of the child development principles every decision in your studio rests on.

A private one-on-one studio review with Jessica, where she will walk through your plan with you and tell you exactly what to change before you open the doors.

The structure

Three live group virtual sessions over three weeks, recorded for lifetime access.

One private 45-minute studio review with Jessica, scheduled in the two weeks following the final group session. This is the session that turns the framework into your studio.

A private cohort space for questions and peer feedback throughout.

Who this is for

Educators and studio builders who are ready to design and open a real process art space. You may already have a room, a corner of a classroom, or a lease you haven't signed yet. What matters is that you intend to build something real and you want to learn how to do it from the person who has been doing it for twelve years.

This is not for hobbyists or for parents looking for at-home ideas. The YES Environment ebook is the right starting point for that audience.

The first cohort opens June 2026

Twelve seats. Waitlist members are invited to enroll first, before the cohort opens publicly.

Founding cohort pricing will be available to waitlist members only.

ABOUT JESSICA BOROWETS

Jessica Borowets is the owner and director of The Artful Child®, a process art studio in Toronto with two locations. The Artful Child is built on more than a personal practice. It carries 55+ years of family experience in early childhood education — three generations of teachers and studio practitioners. The framework taught in this Circle is inherited, tested, and refined across decades of working with children.

Over the past twelve years, Jessica has shaped how thousands of children experience materials, space, and creative learning. She has led professional development for educators across Canada and mentors studio owners building process art spaces of their own. Her method draws on a lifetime inside creative early childhood environments and aligns with the research of Jack Shonkoff at Harvard, Loris Malaguzzi, Lev Vygotsky, and Elliot Eisner.

She built The Artful Child into what early childhood art education should have been all along: environments designed for the child, not the adult. Grounded in research, not in trends. A studio that treats children as thinkers, makers, and decision-makers from the moment they walk in.

In the Founding Coaching Circle, Jessica works directly with each educator on the design of their own studio — with the same rigour and care she brings to her own rooms.
